Born in California, Aria grew up with an intense love and appreciation for fantasy and science fiction. She loved to read and watch movies that allowed her imagination to run free. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor's Degree in Management and is still searching for her place in the world.

"From the Black" is her debut novel. She plans to write at least two other novels in the "From the Black" series.
