Hello everyone,
Aria here. I know I've been MIA for the last few months. I sincerely apologize for that. I've had a lot going on. Which I will provide some insight now.
Just as I was making progress with the depression, my Basset Hound passed away. He was almost 9 years old. Aside from having pancreatitis, he was very healthy. It was an unexpected and devastating blow. The image below is a picture of Copper (the Basset Hound) and Riley (Italian Greyhound). Little Riley has been so amazing through this entire ordeal. He is so full of love and cuddles with me any time I need it. And sometimes when I don't.

To help me cope with my depression and anxiety, I have taken up crocheting. I fell in love with crocheting. I feel so much calmer while working on a project. I ended up deciding to make items for all of my family for Christmas. I spent hours every day making these items. Once Christmas is over, my poor thumb will need a break.
Obviously, the desired release date for "From the Black" is just not going to happen. For the New Year, I want to find a happy medium between crocheting and working on "From the Black." I want to get it released as soon as possible.
I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still here. I have not abandoned my novel. I don't plan on it. I finish what I begin. I may not finish it within the my goal timeline, but I do finish.
In the mean time, I remain faithfully yours.
